From Shrewsbury take A49 south. Pass through Dorrington, do not turn here, keep on A49 for 3 more miles, then 1/2 mile before Leebotwood take right turn to SMETHCOTT ( and Walkmills).

Follow signs to Smethcott up hill for 2 miles, narrow lanes, Lawley House drive on left, white sign, over cattle grid. ample parking. (please leave yard clear for turning).
